Incredibly slim. Impressively fast.

With our new high modulus prepreg carbon masts. we have reduced the thickness of the underwater hull by more than 15% compared to our standard carbon masts and at the same time increased the bending and torsional stiffness.

The HM80 is particularly suitable for the wind-independent disciplines of prone surf. pump and downwind. The shorter chord length over the entire length of the mast reduces drag and increases maneuverability. This means more planing power. more efficient pumping and faster turns.

The HM85 covers all disciplines. with a focus on wing foiling.In wind-driven disciplines. you have to push against the wind to generate propulsion. Part of this propulsion comes from the front wing. another part from the mast.In order to generate this propulsion efficiently. the chord length in the submerged part of the mast is slightly longer. It increases near the tip of the mast to maximize stiffness without compromising drag. as this part of the mast is no longer in the water after touching down on the airfoil. A more efficient shape of the underwater hull means less drag and therefore a higher and easier to achieve top speed.

Ventilation on the mast is a thing of the past.We have paid particular attention to this detail so that. regardless of the sea state. the ventilation at the TE of the mast is significantly reduced.

The HM105 has been optimized for racing.The thickness of the submerged part of the mast is 1 mm thinner than the HM80 and HM85 in order to achieve maximum top speed.This mast is therefore not suitable for jumping.

As with the HM85. the chord length in the submerged area has been adjusted to ensure good propulsion. while the chord length above the waterline increases to maximize stiffness.
