Slingshot Ghost V2

Intensive months of development work have resulted in a great new kite. In the second generation we have succeeded in making the Ghost even lighter than its predecessor. At the same time it is more comfortable and versatile. But not only in the fine trim area could be moved a lot. also the geometry was modified.

Through an adjusted aspect ratio. the Ghost V2 runs more effective height. trumps with a more differentiated feedback and collects additional comfort points in terms of handling. Based on the new single-luff strut. the kite inspires with lightning-fast reactions. ingenious agility and drift characteristics that are second to none.

1 | New Tuned Aspect RatioDifferent kite sizes place different demands on the geometry in order to achieve maximum performance values. That’s why each size of the Ghost V2 has been given a specifically tuned aspect ratio.

2 | New Canopy ProfileThe revised profile curves in combination with the adjusted geometry provide even stronger am-wind characteristics. a more differentiated feedback at the bar and an increase in riding comfort.

3 | New Single Luff Strut ConstructionThe new Luff Strut concept separates the center strut from the top sail. allowing for a more aerodynamic profile. thus reducing drag while providing faster turning and better kite control.

4 | New One-Pump-Speed-SystemThe one-pump system. patented by us and now used throughout the industry. has been overhauled. The connection hose between the front tube and strut now has a larger diameter. which increases airflow. The durability of the connecting hose has also been improved.

5 | New Streamlined Bridle SystemBy upgrading to even higher quality materials. we were able to reduce the thickness of the bridle lines by an incredible 25 percent. which noticeably reduces drag.

6 | Multiple Attachment PointsDifferent attachment options on the kite allow an exact fine trim to individual preferences. Even small changes have an enormous impact on the flight character. or the bar feeling. A tool with which you can tickle the maximum performance out of your kite.

FIELD OF APPLICATIONA strong low end plays just as important a role for foilers as tight. fast turns. a differentiated bar feedback and an optimally working depower management – enriched by pronounced drift characteristics. It is precisely these performance characteristics that the Ghost V2 delivers at such a high level that it opens up completely new dimensions for foilers on the water. At the same time. with these attributes in the smaller to medium sizes. it also offers wave kiters enormous fun potential. However. it is not a pure specialist. The freeride suitability is so pronounced that the Ghost V2 is also a good partner for a cruiser session with the twintip.

WINDRANGELike all Slingshot kites. the Ghost V2 also has a large wind range in the individual sizes. The table provides indications for the wind range. however rider weight. riding ability and board size of course play an important role and should be taken into consideration.
