The asymmetrical deck focuses flex characteristics on the heel edge of the board for better overall pop. The larger space flex window in the tips adds extra dampening and gives the board a springy feel without sacrificing performance. Responsive ride through basalt stringersBasalt fiber is derived from volcanic rock. and basalt is an abundant resource. The fiber has low global warming potential because it is a natural fiber. This element of our Concept Blue program replaces both carbon and glass fibers as materials. Basalt has similar mechanical properties. but has a much lower impact on the environment.
