The WARP_FOIL extends the range of our PWA and IFCA Fin Slalom Champion sails. It is a highly specialized foil design for experienced foil racers adapted to the reduced water resistance of the hydrofoil. Compared to traditional fin surfing. you have approx. 70% less drag on the foil. The 20.24 lineup is fully aligned with the new PWA slalom foil rules and the main focus in the development of the new WARP_FOIL 20.24 was on increasing the wind range (= improved average speed) and flight control in the upper range (= improved V-Max). To achieve this. we have significantly increased the luff curve. which leads to a much more controlled and balanced behavior in overpower. We have also increased the luff length even further. which has enabled us to reduce the sail top geometry. The smaller top creates less leverage. which in turn improves control and balance.Here are some other improvements we have incorporated into the 20.24 design:The boom length has been shortened. which reduces the pressure on the sail handWe have increased the sail twist between battens 1 – 3 to achieve more release. which improves top speed and accelerationThe massive double foil sleeve now consists of 4 parts and has a huge impact on the aerodynamics of the flying shapeIn our eyes. the WARP_FOIL 20.24 redefines the benchmark for the ratio of control. performance and wind range. It has been specially developed to win windfoil races! Attention: for maximum performance the WARP_FOIL is equipped with 4 carbon tube battens. These battens are stiffer. but unfortunately also more fragile than glass tube battens. They are therefore excluded from our warranty!
