This shape has been designed to give newcomers their first glide as early as possible to get them hooked on the sport straight away!It offers a wide range of use and is the ideal platform for the whole family and friends to take their first steps on a windsurfing board. On the other hand. its exciting planing potential is a real treat for experienced freeriders.
The length combined with the parallel outline and even volume distribution offer stability and excellent characteristics for passive. early planing. Beginners will find it super easy to start gliding!
The board covers all windsurfing levels with its various footstrap plug-in options.
The Powerbox center fin is one of the main features of this board: it works like a daggerboard and helps anyone who needs or wants it to get and stay upwind. The advantage is the low weight compared to a traditional daggerboard body. When the fin is not needed. it is replaced by a cover to ensure a smooth water flow and the experienced rider can enjoy the feel and light weight of a normal freeride board!The deck is shaped quite flat in the middle to ensure maximum stability when you are not planing. Once you move to a more outboard riding position. the ergonomic rail design provides a comfortable stance for an exhilarating ride. The pronounced V-shape. especially at the front. increases comfort and provides a smoother ride.
Jibing is the other key experience in windsurfing. The forgiving character given by the wide tail and soft tuck line will help you master planing maneuvers.
COMPARISON with other freeride boards:The most noticeable differences to our wider freeride boards with similar volume and girth are its length and width: they offer a completely different feel and performance that will benefit beginners. When not planing. the long and narrow hull stays on track. Sailing in a straight line is easier. while the noses of short. wide boards have a greater tendency to turn into the wind. It is therefore easier for less experienced riders to get planing thanks to the length of the board. When planing. the narrow hull feels less wobbly and not too powerful. but is still fast and easy to control.
