The IKON marks the beginning of a new era in high performance freestyle & freeride. It offers a level of comfort that could previously only be achieved in carbon boards. while maximizing all the positive characteristics of carbon construction.

To further minimize weight. a core of paulownia and balsa wood was chosen. This design gives the board an ultra-light feel that is perfect for tricks such as dark slides. board offs and anyone who likes to rotate with almost nothing on their feet.

The direct feel of the carbon board allows for the most precise pop to launch into the highest jumps. The precision of the pop is further enhanced by the double concave and complex channel construction. resulting in perfect landings when aiming for your next WOO record.

The unique flex pattern provides the soft landings you’ve always dreamed of with previous carbon constructions. Despite the forgiving flex. a forgiving outline was also chosen. similar to the POLAR range. This outline improves smoothness even in choppy conditions and makes it possible to always find a perfect take-off.

CO2 NeutralOur goal is to develop the best performing boards while reducing our impact on the planet. We believe that many of the materials used by Mother Nature. such as FLAX and organic resins. improve the performance of our products. In addition. all CO2 emissions generated during the production of our boards are offset by ARKTIK.

Wood coreThe IKON is based on a CNC-milled wood core made of paulownia and balsa wood. This is the lightest and healthiest option and also improves the flex patterns built into the board. To minimize the weight of the board. we have also milled a 3D top construction!

Double ConcaveThe DOUBLE CONCAVE offers maximum support during take-offs and landings. It also supports the channel construction and provides extra grip when launching into flat spins of a kicker wave – and improves early planning!

RATCHET BINDINGSThe RATCHET BINDING is the easiest system to adjust while riding. With the ratchet you can tighten or loosen the binding in seconds. To maximize comfort. we have equipped the inside and edges of the strap with MEMORY FOAM.

Air Dampening PadsThe AIR DAMPENING system integrated into our pads is designed to absorb any shock on landing. The air cushion sits under and around the heel and provides maximum comfort – whether you’re landing megaloops or simply riding in choppy water. To further improve the perfect stance. we have equipped the pads with a grippy 3D surface. The TOE RIDGE presses the toes against the MEMORY FOAM of the binding. We could go on and on about the different Stance options – but just get in and try them out for yourself!

Absorption PadsThe board’s 3D channels and top construction minimize weight while providing an extremely precise flex. The board is designed to offer super soft landings and maximum comfort at maximum speed!

CONTINUOUS RockerThe CONTINUOUS ROCKER improves soft landings. It also increases maneuverability and makes the board smoother in choppy conditions!

Grip ChannelsThe GRIP CHANNELS integrated into the DOUBLE CONCAVE and the tips allow you to have full control over the edge at all times – even when you’re completely overpowered for the next WOO record. The additional grip improves upwind capabilities and allows you to ride smaller fins to facilitate fast landings.
