Combat – The first choice of our World Cup Teamriders

The Combat is the preferred sail of our World Cup team riders. After a complete redesign in 2024. the main design remains unchanged for 2025. With a higher aspect ratio. a slightly longer mast. a wider head and a narrower boom. the latest version of our best-selling wave sail offers even more control in the upper wind range.

The Combat construction uses professional technology at an unbeatable price. It is the same as the Combat HD. but with a clear viewing window in the center. The Ultra PE X-Ply sail body makes the sail extremely durable. while remaining light in the hand and offering better visibility on the wave – ideal for those who do not prefer an X-Ply viewing window.

With the introduction of Powerfuse on the clew and mast sleeve in our HD construction since 2024. durability has been significantly improved compared to previous HD models. As a result. the sail offers an outstanding stability-to-weight ratio – and at a more attractive price than the Pro Fuse.

Propulsion & Acceleration

A new higher aspect design carried over from 2024 provides a slightly longer mast. narrower boom and larger topsail. This combination gives the Combat excellent propulsion and acceleration. both in wave conditions and when launching in marginal wind conditions.

Wide wind range

Thanks to the revised profile. the adjusted mast curve and the new. larger panel layout. this is the most versatile version of this sail yet. Rig it full when the wind is light or you want to use a small sail for more maneuverability. or put on a little more leech load when rigging for overpowered conditions.

Stability

Our latest mast curve and sail shaping have only stiffened the sail very slightly compared to 2023. The resulting 24/25 sails remain stable even in strong winds.

4-batten layout

Our new panel layout has drastically reduced the number of seams required in the sail. In combination with carefully selected materials. we were able to reduce the weight of the sails by around 25 % compared to the 2023 model year.
