The XA Monocoque Boom is superbly crafted and designed for versatile applications. It contains many of the same key components used in our high performance booms. The XA is for everyone. because we want you to have only the best in your hands. The X-AS now offers the same precise performance as the standard XA boom. but with a slimmer handle diameter of 27.1 mm.

VT JOINT

Increases the contact area between the boom and the mast.It can be used on any standard diameter boom.Reduces the likelihood of point loading.Minimizes the play between the jib and mast connection.Allows easy height adjustment of the boom.

MAST CUP

The mast cup provides two points of contact between the cup and the mast. creating a tight connection and ensuring excellent power transmission.The V-shape adapts to various standard mast diameters.Thinner masts sit further into the V. while wider ones sit further out. The VT-Joint is standard on all NeilPryde booms. It also comes with an oversized. forged carbon mast cup that is specially adapted to each XC boom.

OPTIMIZED SHEETING ANGLE

The new optimized sheet angle allows for super easy tightening and loosening. It also ensures that the rope never loosens or moves unintentionally during the session.

INTEGRATED BOOM LEVER

Integrated boom lever for easy locking and opening. Designed with a reduced surface area and low weight.
