The 2022 EAGLE-FR has been designed to be at the forefront of the rapidly evolving disciplines of foil slalom and cross-country. The S2Maui World Cup Foil Race machine was developed in collaboration with Antoine. Delphine and Micah and builds on an impressive track record in foil racing. including Delphine Cousins winning the PWA Foil World Championships twice. Antoine Questel winning the first PWA Foil Exhibition title as well as some of the first foil slalom races and Micah Buziani’s timeless experience in the Champion Test.

New features of the 2022 EAGLE-FR include a revised outline with shortened sail length and boom. which together with refined batten angles significantly increase stability and extend the wind range. The new 2022 panel layout increases the use of lightweight performance monofilm throughout the sail body for more direct and explosive acceleration. S2Maui’s exclusive. super light and robust Technora Spacelight™ is positioned in the leech for lightning fast response. incredible lightness and durability. We’ve fine-tuned the foil-race specific twist pattern with tighter leech tension in the top three battens and an incredibly planing. fast. progressive twist pattern from clew to sail head to allow the sail to breathe and adapt to the most efficient profile. Higher sail tension. a flatter profile. a more forward position. wide clews and high carbon content battens give the 2022 EAGLE-FR incredible stability. allowing the racing sailor to maintain perfect trim and posture.
